Privacy Policy
Art. 1 -- Definitions
1.1. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, in accordance with Art. 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1.2. Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, including collection, recording, organization, storage, modification, consultation, use, disclosure, or deletion thereof.
1.3. Data controller means the legal entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
1.4. Data subject means the natural person whose personal data is processed by the Controller.
1.5. Consent means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which they accept the processing of their personal data.
Art. 2 -- Data Controller

2.2. The Controller processes personal data in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.
Art. 3 -- Data Collected
3.1. Data provided through the contact form: When a user completes the contact form on the website, we collect the following data:
- First and last name;
- Email address;
- Phone number (optional);
- Requested service (selection from a predefined list);
- Message text submitted.
3.2. Website interaction data: During normal website operation, our servers may automatically record the following information:
- IP address;
- Browser type and version used;
- Pages visited and visit duration;
- Date and time of access.
3.3. Analytics tools: We do not currently use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar). Should analytics tools be implemented in the future, we will update this section and request your consent where applicable.
3.4. We do not collect sensitive personal data (data concerning racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic or biometric data, health data, or sexual orientation).
Art. 4 -- Purpose of Processing
4.1. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to inquiries: Processing information requests submitted through the contact form;
- Communication: Contacting you regarding our services, in response to your explicit request;
- Service improvement: Analyzing website usage to optimize the user experience and website functionality;
- Legal compliance: Fulfilling legal obligations applicable to the Controller.
Art. 5 -- Legal Basis
5.1. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of the following legal grounds, in accordance with Art. 6 of the GDPR:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): By completing and submitting the contact form, the user provides explicit consent for the processing of the data submitted;
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Ensuring the normal operation of the website, information security, and fraud prevention.
5.2. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal, by sending a request to office@urbanscope.ro.
Art. 6 -- Retention Period
6.1. Data collected through the contact form is stored for a period of 2 (two) years from the date of submission, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.
6.2. Website interaction data (server logs) is stored for a maximum period of 12 months for security and technical diagnostic purposes.
6.3. Where the law requires a longer retention period, data will be retained for the duration prescribed by applicable legislation.
Art. 7 -- Data Subject Rights
7.1. In accordance with Art. 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): The right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and to access said data;
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): The right to request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): The right to request deletion of your data under the conditions provided by the GDPR;
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): The right to request limitation of the processing of your data in certain situations;
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): The right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): The right to object to the processing of your data based on the Controller's legitimate interest.

Art. 8 -- Data Security
8.1. The Controller implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, accidental destruction, or modification.
8.2. These measures include, but are not limited to:
- Use of secure communication protocols (HTTPS/TLS);
- Role-based access control for authorized personnel;
- Periodic security audits of information systems;
- Data backup and recovery procedures.
8.3. Despite the security measures implemented, no method of data transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. The Controller cannot guarantee absolute data security.
Art. 9 -- International Transfers
9.1. Personal data collected through the website is stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA).
9.2. Should a transfer of data to countries outside the EEA become necessary, the Controller will ensure an adequate level of data protection by applying the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses, European Commission adequacy decisions, or other appropriate safeguards).
9.3. We do not currently transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.
Art. 10 -- Policy Changes
10.1. The Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices or applicable legislation.
10.2. The updated version will be published on the website at https://urbanscope.ro/politica-de-confidentialitate/ with an indication of the date of the last update.
10.3. We recommend that users periodically review this page to stay informed about any changes.
